I'm currently in Pre-Calc H, and Chem H.

Hobbies:

PLEASE VIEW MY WEBSITE --> www.ToStudentTutoring.com !!!

My friends and I have a small student tutoring business called T.O. Student Tutoring. We're extremely cheap, and work great with kids. We've been approved by the Redwood principal, along with many Redwood Teachers. Please visit our website at www.ToStudentTutoring.com for more information.

Hi everyone, I’m Matt Rhodes. I’m 15 years old and a sophomore at Thousand Oaks High School. I’m currently tutoring two 7th grade girls in Algebra 1. I absolutely love helping out others, and working with younger students. In 8th grade, I participated in Cross-Age-Tutoring, in which I went to my old Elementary School (Aspen) and spent an hour of every day working with students. For all of those 8th grade Science Students out there struggling with the Westpoint Bridge Program, you may wish to contact me. I am currently ranked 3rd in the nation, and I am confident I can teach you the secrets to making a cheap and effective bridge…Just ask Mr. Williams. I also made the website, so if you have any questions/comments/suggestions please let me know.

Now a few little personal facts about me:
My school day lasts from 7am-3pm every day. I’m in all honors classes, with all A’s so far, and I’m currently in Math Analysis (Pre-Calculus) Honors. I play the trumpet and I’m part of the TOHS concert and marching band. I also am a HUGE photography fan. I love taking pictures and capturing the world around me in interesting and unique ways. I’m taking a photography class at the HS, which teaches us how to use old 35mm film along with digital. My current camera is the digital Canon Rebel Xti, and I love it! During the Winter, you’ll often find me up on the slopes, skiing. I go as often as I can, and I love the thrill, excitement, and challenge of skiing.

I look forward to tutoring you, and I hope that you choose me as your tutor.

Hourly Rate:
$20.00/hr

Available Days/Times:
Any day in the afternoon
Any day in the evening
Weekends at any time

Lives Near:
91360 zip code

Click here to contact this tutor

Algebra Tutor Thousand Oaks

My name is Michael and I just graduated from the University of Southern California (Go Trojans!) after double majoring in Psychology and East Asian Languages & Cultures, with an emphasis in Chinese (I know...it's a mouthful). I've spent the last four years working part time at a local private high school as the assistant coach for both Basketball and Volleyball, so I have a lot of experience working with kids in a teaching environment. In the last two years, I've spent 8 months living in Beijing, studying, working, and traveling. While there, I helped many of my friends study English. I also speak Spanish and some Hebrew. As for why I want to be a tutor, I have two main reasons. First, the practical: I'm a young entrepreneur and need to support myself in a manner that still allows me to develop my own business. Second, the personal reason: I love to learn, but my greatest regret about college is that I didn't have a professor who truly inspired me as a student. As a result, I want to help kids learn in a more enjoyable manner. I believe that learning should be fun and will do my best to make the subject matter come alive. I have found that the best way to learn new material is to make it easier to understand and more exciting for the student.

As for my qualifications, I graduated high school with a weighted GPA of 4.24 and from college with a cumulative GPA of 3.72. I scored a 1490 on the SAT's prior to the change in format. Additionally, I took six AP courses in high school: English Language, English Literature, Chemistry, Calculus AB, Spanish, and Psychology, and scored a 4, 4, 4, 5, 3, and a 5 respectively. Please contact me if I sound like someone who can fulfill your needs. Thanks!

Hobbies:

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my friends, playing basketball, volleyball, reading, watching movies, and playing video games. I love to travel and spend time learning about other cultures. I really believe you get a lot more out of traveling w

Hourly Rate:
$45.00/hr

Available Days/Times:
Any day at any time

Lives Near:
91302 zip code

Click here to contact this tutor
