Hobbies
I was a cheerleader for 7 years through high school and college, as well as a flute player in high school's and middle school's marching band. I love dance of all types and enjoy attending a Zumba or dance class as a workout. I am also a huge fan of motorsports, and once a month I have the amazing opportunity of racing go karts professionally for my father's race team. Naturally, I find myself asking my students about college and future plans. I was a first-generation college student (my parents did not attend college, and I was the first in my family to go), so for me I had to figure a lot of the details out for myself. I learned a lot, and I am more than happy to share my knowledge about applying to and attending college with all of my up and coming students. Additionally, I am tech-savvy, and usually end up exchanging numbers with even my younger students so I can text them to follow up with how exams and homework went. This diversity in myself allows me to connect with students of all ages, boys or girls.
