When I tutor students, I exhibit patience and take the time to make sure the student fully comprehends a concept before we move on to the next one. Tutoring is great because I get to work with students individually and teach to their individual learning style. I'm a visual learner myself, so I like drawing pictures as a way to understand things in solving problems. I like to learn about my students and their interests so that I can relate them to concepts that we study, which makes lessons more interesting and fun for the student. I five years of experience in education, including teaching fourth grade and preschool. My tutoring specialty is math, but I like working with students on any subject.
