I am a Ph.D. candidate and teaching fellow in American History at Brandeis University, with a B.A. from UCLA and an M.A. from CSUN.
Experience
I have excelled during my academic career, and I am happy to help other students succeed and get accepted to top universities. I have been working with students for the past ten years, and have extensive experience tutoring the ACT and SAT I Reading/Writing sections, as well as the SAT II and AP exam prep for English Literature and U.S. History, and the GRE Verbal/Essay sections. In general, language arts and social sciences are my areas of expertise, and I can help both high school and college students with vocabulary, research paper writing, and reading comprehension skills. I also love to help students who are applying to graduate and professional programs with their application essays. If you need assistance on a specific assignment, from outlining to editing, please be in touch! I am happy to meet in person or to edit and revise documents online. I serve the following areas: Calabasas, West Hills, Woodland Hills, Tarzana, Encino, and Sherman Oaks. All online tutoring is $50/hr, and in person tutoring ranges from $60-100/hr depending on location.
